Hands in the Current: Stories of Work, Water and Home journeys throughout coastal southwest New Brunswick to connect with, and learn from, people whose lives are closely tied to the Bay of Fundy. It explores the question “What makes this region so special?” and examines why ensuring the future health of the bay is so important to us all.

Director Biography – Matt Brown

Matt Brown is an award-winning writer, director, filmmaker and photographer. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts from the University of New Brunswick, Matthew Brown studied photography at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design. He has co-produced and directed several short documentaries including a series of artist profiles for CBC Arts The Exhibitionists, as well as films produced for The National Film Board, The Globe and Mail, and Canada Council For The Arts.
